The software is easy to use, but every user of IDEA StatiCa could benefit from picking up a tip or three. Our tips & tricks sessions on the blog are very popular, but videos are only one-way flows of information…

Therefore It’s time to meet our team and other users for an afternoon where you get update on best practice, get some new ideas and inspiration, as well as have a good time with fellow engineers over a drink and some snacks. (Even structural engineers need to get out of the office once in a while!)

• Short intro to IDEA StatiCa and the CBFEM method! You are probably familiar with code checking with spreadsheets and maybe also FEA software. What is IDEA StatiCa and how does it work? We’ll give you a quick intro!

• IDEA StatiCa for welded connections - with demo’s and best practice tips!

• Marek Kapral from Moreld Apply will present how they leverage IDEA StatiCa in offshore projects and integrate the software into their workflow. He’ll highlight IDEA StatiCa’s flexibility and its interoperability with global analysis tools like SCIA and Staad.PRO.

  Marek will also share insights from past and ongoing projects, discussing how the ability to perform code checks during analysis, and other features, has been crucial for their work in brownfield modification projects - as well as other aspects of daily life as an (enthusiastic) IDEA StatiCa user in the offshore industry!

• Communication in the team: Connection Viewer, Connection Library, IFC export best practice and how cooperation can be streamlined!
